Margo is a Registered Nurse who is studying to become a certified Anthroposophic Nurse. While studying the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner and its relationship to medicine and nursing, the prospective Anthroposophic Nurse also learns to perform a variety of practical external applications, such as Rythmical Einreibungen (RE), compresses, foot baths and oil dispersion baths. Margo is excited to be working in collaboration with Dr. Hering and Dr. Baer to bring some of these external applications to patients at 902 Santa Fe.
Margo graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Language and Culture (1989) and received her RN license (1995) and Masters of Science in Nursing (1999) from San Francisco State University. She worked as a critical care nurse in a local hospital and as a case manager and triage nurse at a local community clinic before embarking on her current path. She finds the study of Anthroposophy to be rich and fulfilling and the practice of Anthroposophic Nursing to be as nurturing for the nurse as it is for the patient.
