I was born in Oakland, CA and graduated from Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel , in 1997. I completed my residency in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, CA. Once I started to practice medicine, I saw the deficits in the Western Medicine model. This led me to seek additional training in Integrative Medicine, eventually receiving a second Board certification. In 2009, I started my training in Anthroposophic Medicne, which defines the human being as body, soul and spirit and emphasizes the self-healing capacities of each individual. Illness is not something to be avoided, but an expression of a need for growth and a corresponding change in consciousness. We focus on supporting patients through the disease process, rather than suppressing the symptoms of disease.
